She has a deep-rooted passion for equine therapy and a love for these extraordinary athletes. She is an equestrian herself and competes regularly in eventing. She has devoted herself to understanding their bodies and increasing their functionality.

Katie
Aemmer

Katie comes to us with over 20 years of massage therapy experience with horses and riders. She first attended a two-year program for massage and bodywork in Michigan, where she learned multiple modalities of bodywork, starting with people, and then combined her knowledge of the muscular system of humans with that of horses.

In 2019, she attended an equine massage therapy program where she became a certified equine massage therapist through Animal Dynamics.  Her main techniques include deep tissue, trigger point therapy, hot stone massage, and myofascial release.

“ My main goal as a bodywork professional is to bring healing and pain relief to both humans and our equine friends.”

Katie offers comprehensive bodywork sessions on horses as well as 60, 90, and 120-minute sessions for humans.
